Public Service Announcements
for Motorcycle Safety & Awareness
How are Public Service Announcements used? They can be used in magazines & newletters, as posters displayed in businesses for public view, or in the break area to as a remind to employees. Most public libraries have lobby areas where the poster can be displayed. Check with your local library to see if they would allow a poster to be placed in the lobby. Does your neighborhood or community produce a monthly newletter? Ask them to add it to the newsletter. It is available as a small poster (8x10, 11x14, 13x17) or on a disk with several different print formats and sizes.
You can download a high quality tif file of the poster here. This file is 37 mg & will print out at 8X10 .
Radio PSA's are utilized by Radio Stations in two ways. One as pre-recorded spots on a cd in specific lengths - usually 10, 15, 20, 30 and sometimes 60 second increments.
BAND has the "Same Road" series on cd. Each cd has 10, 15, 20 and 30 second versions in 4 file formats: mp3, aif, aac and wav. If you are interested in receiving one of these cd's, contact us at Contact@band4Safety.org.
The "Same Road" radio PSA's are also available in script form. These can be faxed or mailed to a radio station. Some stations prefer this type of PSA over the pre-recorded CD's. Always check with the station first to learn about their requirements.
